Operatives of the Lagos State Rapid Response Squad (RRS) have apprehended 43 suspects in an all-night raid of notorious spots in Oshodi and its environs.

It was gathered that the raid of the suspects across the metropolis led to the recovery of a semi-automatic pistol in a different raid that took place on Tuesday 10th April 2024.

The state police command spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, said the raid was carried out in Anthony, Bolade Oshodi and Oshodi Terminus.

He said the raid was a sequel to credible intelligence about the activities of undesirable elements in those areas.

Hundeyin said, “A pistol was recovered in Opebi, Ikeja when the commander of RRS, CSP Olayinka Egbeyemi, deployed a team from the squad to verify information received from members of the public.
