The Ondo State Police Command said it has arrested an Islamic cleric over alleged possession of recently harvested body parts.

The Police disclosed that the cleric, Oluwafemi Idris, kept human parts in his house and intended to use them for ritual purposes.

Police, in a statement by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Funmilayo Odunlami-Omisanya, said it got intel about the incident from a reliable source in January 2024.

According to Odunlami-Omisanya, Police swung into action and apprehended the suspect and a search was conducted in his house in the Akoko area of the state.
