Police Public Relations Officer in the state, DSP Dungus Abdulkarim said in a statement that the ‘A’ Divisional Police Headquarters apprehended Isa of Shago Tara, Nayi Nawa Ward, for allegedly killing Adamu on September 16, 2024.

DSP Abdulkarim said the suspect initially denied involvement in the crime despite overwhelming circumstantial evidence, he however confessed later after intense interrogation by detectives from the State Criminal Investigation Department.

Investigations revealed that Adamu was an employer and business partner in the engine oil business with the suspect.

Isa reportedly borrowed N500,000 from Adamu last year with a profit-sharing agreement.

However, when he failed to meet the agreement terms, Adamu demanded repayment of the said money.
