The suspect was arrested on July 9, 2024, at about 9:00pm, while the operatives were acting on credible intelligence.

He was arrested in Gosa Kipikipi village, Lugbe, Abuja, with a human skull and bones of other human body parts.

FCT Police Spokesperson, SP Josephine Adeh, while confirming the arrest, said: “the suspect, upon interrogation, stated that he picked them up from the bush while hunting at Kuje and had the intention to sell the body parts for N600,000.”

This is even as the FCT Commissioner of Police, CP Benneth Igweh, has ordered that a thorough investigation be conducted to ascertain the bearer of the body parts, the intended buyer, if the suspect killed anyone to be in possession of the body parts, and how long the suspect had been in the alleged business.
