The Assistant Inspector General of Police, Maritime command, Yekinni Ayoku, has commended the Port Standing Task Team (PSTT), for breaking the barriers mitigating against the Ease of Doing Business (EODB), at the nation’s seaport.
He disclosed this on Tuesday, when the coordinator of the PSTT, Moses Fadipe, paid a courtesy visit on the maritime AIG, in Lagos.
According to him, the visit was in continuation of the collaborative effort for synergy and good working relationships in driving the implementation of the 5 Port Process Manual (NPPM).
He said, “the PSTT paid a courtesy visit to the AIG Maritime at Kam Salem House, Obalende, Lagos. This was in continuation of the collaborative effort for synergy and good working relationships in driving the implementation of the NPPM.
“The coordinator of PSTT, Moses Fadipe, was received by AIG Yekini AyokU and the AIG stressed the importance of collaboration and commended the work of the PSTT towards achieving Ease of Doing Business at the nation’s seaports.”
Fadipe, however, sought the zone’s support, saying the command was a strategic partner in achieving its objectives
“The National Coordinator, amongst other issues, discussed seeing the command as a strategic partner while the AIG expressed their readiness for support any time such is required.”
