“We declare Mr. Bakare Opeyemi wanted in connection with the violation of the Same Sex Marriage Prohibition Act 2013, which was passed on January 7, 2014,” the police said in a statement, while urging other security agencies to apprehend the fleeing Opeyemi.

He was alleged to have engaged in homosexual practice with one Mr. Badmus Abiola who confessed to our agents after his arrest, that he had been having sexual relations with him (Opeyemi).

“Abiola was arrested on June 26, 2018 with the help of residents of his neighborhood who called and reported the case to the police. After much investigation and interrogation, he disclosed that Opeyemi has been his sex partner since their University days.
