Some students of the private university which was founded by the Urhobo Advancement Foundation (UAF), raised the alarm over the invasion as they were thrown into panic with some of them running into the bush for safety.

The invaders reportedly gained access into the school premises through the back that was not fenced in an attempt to rob the students.

The Police who were alerted to the incident by the fleeing students responded almost immediately and chased the criminal gang away from the University.

Confirming the incident, Police Public Relations Officer, (PPRO), Delta State Command, SP Bright Edafe, said the suspected robbers came in through the broken fence at the back of the school, but the Police responded swiftly and they all fled.
