Police Nab 2 Suspected Kidnappers in Adamawa

Police operatives along with some hunters in Mubi North, successfully nabbed two suspected kidnappers.

The cops attached to Divisional Police Headquarters, Mubi North received a report about the kidnapping of 28-year-old Aisha Ahmadu whose husband, Alhaji Ahmadu Mohammed was shot and killed in the process on 3 April, 2023 at Digil Village, Mubi North Local Government Area.

Investigations into the report led to the arrests of 22-year-old Mohammed Bello and 26-year-old Abubakar Mallam who are both residents of Mubi North LGA.

Police PRO, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje in a statement on Tuesday said both suspects conspired, organized and whisked the victim away after killing her husband.

They held the victim for three days and three nights until a ransom of Two Million five Hundred thousand Naira was demanded and received before releasing the victim.
