Police Nab 3 Over Alleged Theft Of Motorcycle In Bauchi

Operatives of the Bauchi State Police Command have arrested three suspects for allegedly stealing a boxer-model motorcycle from Tenti-Babba, a community in Bokkos local government area of Plateau State.

The suspects, Yakubu Aminu, Abdul Lawal, and Buhari Abdullahi, all residents of Magama Gumau Town, Toro local government were arrested after the owner of the stolen motorcycle, Haruna Maguwa reported the incident to the police.

Spokesperson of Bauchi Police Command, SP Ahmed Wakil in a statement on Thursday, said the suspects were implicated in a criminal conspiracy, theft, and receiving stolen property.

“Investigation led to the identification of the three suspects. On December 18, 2024, at about 0700 hours, the Police Command executed a successful operation resulting in the arrest of the three individuals.

“The stolen motorcycle was recovered from the suspects, who had intended to sell it to an unsuspecting buyer,” Wakil explained.
