Adamawa police command has arrested 32 armed robbery and kidnap suspects and recovered four vehicles and N1.6million from the suspects.
Among the suspects paraded yesterday, is one Mustapha Mohammed, suspected to have abducted Zainab Abbas, the wife of an Adamawa State High Court judge.
The police public relations officer, PPRO, SP Suleiman Nguroje, listed items recovered from the suspects to include; 13 AK-47 Rifles, five locally made pistol, 59 live ammunitions (AK48) 7.62mm, 72 live ammunitions (Pistol) 0.6 mm and four pump action.
The commissioner of police, Afolabi Babatola, after the parade, presented commendation plague to 11 officers and hunters believed to have been behind the successful arrests.
Among, those recognised is OC Crack Squad, SP Hussaini,
DSP Martina Panchiri, ASP Dahiru Tajudeen, ASP Salman Adamu, Inspector Ibrahim Musa and some hunters.
