A statement signed by the police spokesperson, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje said the suspects were arrested following the complaint received from the father of the victim on October 19, 2023.

Some unknown faces came to his house around 1800hrs with pretence to buy zobo juice and lured the eight-year-old boy.

The commissioner of police, CP Afolabi Babatola, while expressing happiness, commended DPO Mubi South and his men for rescuing an innocent child and denying the criminals the opportunity of escaping arrest.
