Operatives of the Anti-Cultism Tactical Squad of Enugu State Police Command have arrested a 24-year-old native doctor, Ejike Emmanuel Chinonso for being in possession of firearms.
LEADERSHIP learnt that two firearms, one expended and two live rounds of ammunition were recovered from the suspect.
Spokesman of the Police Command, SP Daniel Ndukwe, who confirmed the arrest, said the exhibits were recovered from the suspect’s shrine located at Ugwuochie-Iwollo in Ezeagu local government area of the state.
He added that the exhibits included one locally made pistol, one revolver pistol, one expended and one live .38 special calibre ammunition, and one live cartridge.

Nduke said the suspect will be arraigned in court upon the conclusion of investigations.
