Among them is one Chinedu Ikwuagwu, 30, who was arrested for allegedly having annal intercourse with one Wisdom.

Parading the suspects, the command’s spokesperson, Chidi Nwabizor, said the suspects were arrested for kidnapping, armed robbery, cultism, attempted murder, impersonation, unlawful possession of firearms among others.

Chidi said Chinedu was arrested by operatives of the Anti-Kidnapping and Cyber Crime Unit of the command while investigating a complaint by one Wisdom that the suspect allegedly hypnotised him and forcefully had anal sex with him.

He said the victim also alleged that the suspect used money to lure male teenagers and have anal sex with them.

According to him, the suspect made a statement and confessed to the crime, adding that he is helping the police in their investigation.

Chidi said police also arrested one Raymond Osara, 33 and Godstime Idemudia 33, who were alleged to have kidnapped a pregnant woman and her sister-in law and demanded N5 million ransom from her husband.

In an interview with journalists, Chinedu, said he was arrested following an allegation by Wisdom that he had annal intercourse with him.

“I would not deny that I am not a gay, but it is not something I do often. It was my school father who introduced me to gay while I was in Auchi Polytechnic, but I stopped it after graduation until now.

“ I have a serious girlfriend (fiancée) and I don’t know  how it happened but I thank God I am still alive. I want to apologise to my fiancée that she should forgive me,” he said.
