Police Rescue 4 Kidnap Victims in Katsina

The Katsina State Police Command has rescued four persons who were abducted by suspected armed bandits in the state.

The command spokesman, Abubakar Sadiq Aliyu, disclosed this in a statement made available to Journalists.

He said to ensure to safety of lives and property of the people, the command in collaboration with the Nigeria Military rescued the four kidnapped victims at different locations in the state, stressing that the rescue operation was conducted during a routine patrol along the Dankolo village, Dandume local government area of the state

“Today, October 28, 2023, at about 0830hrs, the combined efforts of the command and the military personnel led to the successful rescue of the kidnapped victims.

“The relentless efforts and dedication of our security forces paid off, resulting in their safe rescue, the victims have undergone medical examinations to ensure their well-being and have since been reunited with their families.

“The Commissioner of Police Katsina State Command commends the professionalism displayed by the collaborative team during this operation. He emphasized that the fight against all forms of crime and criminality in the state continues with unwavering determination and vigilance”, he said.

He further encouraged the people of the State to remain vigilant and promptly report any suspicious activities or individuals to the nearest police divisional headquarters, as their cooperation and support will play a vital role in the fight against all forms of crimes and criminality in the state.
