Edafe disclosed that during preliminary checks, the operatives observed that the victim appeared to have been hypnotised.

She, however, recounted that the suspect lured her from her family home, destroyed her SIM card to prevent contact, and took her away.

“Further investigation led the operatives to the victim’s mother, Esther Moses, of Bodinga community in Niger State, who confirmed that her daughter had been missing since September 2, 2025, and that a complaint had already been lodged with the Niger State Police Command,” Edafe said. He added that the investigation into the case is ongoing.
