President Muhammadu Buhari will be the special guest of honour at the Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation 9th Annual Lecture and Awards holding in Nasarawa State on May 6, 2023.
Also, the governor of Plateau State and chairman of Northern States Governors’ Forum Simon Bako Lalong will chair the lecture while Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule, will be the chief Host.
This year’s edition has the theme: “Credible 2023 General Elections as Panacea to the Search for Quality Leadership” and will take place at Aliyu Akwe Doma Hall, Government House, Lafia, the state capital by 9am prompt.
The lecture is held annually where experts, analysts, policy makers and stakeholders converge to discuss topical issues and proffer solutions to them.
In a statement issued by the director-general/CEO of the foundation, Engr Abubakar Gambo Umar, said Professor P.L.O. Lumumba, chairman of the P.L.O Lumumba Foundation, Kenya will be the guest speaker at the event, the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III is the royal father of the day, while the Emir of Lafia, Justice Sidi Bage I, will serve as the royal host.
