At an event held in Wuse Shopping Plaza, Arogundade also presented N500,000 to the beneficiary to enhance her business and livelihood.

A statement issued by Assistant Chief Information Officer Henry David highlighted Madam Arogundade’s dedication to empowering individuals with skills but limited resources.

“The support extended to Oluwatobiloba is part of a broader initiative that recently awarded N100 million to 120 participants of the UNLOCK Training Programme and distributed solar kiosks to 80 entrepreneurs,” the statement reads.

Arogundade emphasized that these actions align with the Renewed Hope Agenda, which aims to bolster technical, vocational, and entrepreneurship skills across Nigeria.

She stressed the importance of assisting skilled individuals who lack the resources or physical locations to develop their businesses.

Madam Arogundade learned of Oluwatobiloba’s story through the Minister of Women Affairs, Hon. Uju Kennedy-Onyejeocha, who passionately advocated for her. As a result, Oluwatobiloba received a double portion of the support ordinarily reserved for separate beneficiaries.

Oluwatobiloba expressed her profound gratitude, stating that the support had restored her hope. She thanked the President, the Minister, and the SSAP-TVEE for their generosity, which has significantly impacted her life.

The minister of women affairs highlighted the challenging circumstances faced by Oluwatobiloba, a single mother of two, praising her dedication despite the hardships.

She commended the SSAP-TVEE for their commitment to empowering the underprivileged and expressed optimism about President Tinubu administration’s potential to bring positive change.

Madam Bilikisu Salawu, the woman leader of the Wuse Shopping Plaza, also expressed confidence in the administration’s ability to uplift the less fortunate lauding the support provided to Oluwatobiloba.
