As cryptocurrency adoption continues to grow across the country, industry stakeholders have stressed the need for greater trust, security and transparency within the digital asset system.

Speaking with journalists, the chief executive officer of Bisats Global Resources Limited (BISATS), Daniel Tobiloba Stephen, stated that the increasing use of digital assets for payments, investments and cross-border transactions has created a demand for platforms that prioritise user confidence and transaction security.

According to him, while cryptocurrency continues to gain acceptance among Nigerians, concerns around reliability and safety remain important considerations for many users.

He said, “Trust remains the foundation of sustainable growth in the crypto currency industry. As more people embrace digital assets, operators must focus on building systems that are secure, transparent and easy to use.”

He explained that BISATS is contributing to this effort by providing solutions that support fiat-to-naira transactions through a P2P escrow framework, while also enabling users to swap digital assets into USDT.

Stephen noted that beyond facilitating transactions, crypto currency companies have a responsibility to educate users, uphold high operational standards and contribute positively to the development of Nigeria’s digital economy.

He expressed optimism about the future of the sector, pointing out that increasing awareness, technological innovation and responsible industry practices would continue to drive adoption across the country.

According to Stephen, the long-term growth of the industry will depend largely on the ability of operators to earn and sustain public trust while delivering value to users, adding that the company will remain committed to supporting financial inclusion by expanding access to digital asset services and helping more Nigerians participate in the evolving digital economy.
