Propak West Africa has said its 2022 conference would attract 5,000 professionals in a bid to boost manufacturing industry in West Africa.
The conference, which will commence on November 22 to 24, 2022 in Lagos, has been fully endorsed by the Industrial Development department of the Federal Ministry of Trade and Investment.
The organisers of Afrocet Montgomery said: “as the region’s leading exhibition and conference for the plastics, packaging, printing and food processing industries, Propak West Africa is expected to bring together more than 5,000 professionals to source machines, products and services from over 200 brands across just three days of industry networking.
“Taking place in Lagos, attendees of Propak West Africa can expect to discover brand new technology, learn about exciting growth opportunities and benchmark themselves in the market.”
They said, each session in the programme will give attendees critical insight and provide an opportunity to gain knowledge on evolving consumer behaviour, market trends and take part in important discussions on subject matters affecting the manufacturing industry.
According to Propak West Africa, a distinguished panel of speakers are set to deliver insightful talks this year, including the managing director of BASF West Africa, Nigeria, Dr Jean Ricca; president of World Packaging Organisation, Prof Pierre Pienaar; and Technical Project manager of Doehler, Ernest Ighrawve.
It added that the conference will take place alongside the largest gathering of companies working in the packaging, plastics, printing and food processing sectors in West Africa, with more than 200 companies exhibiting.
