Speaking to journalists in Abuja, national publicity secretary, Dr Muhammad Kailani, said the group commended the former minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Godswill Akpabio for stepping down for Tinubu, adding that his support, especially the 92 votes from his home State of Akwa Ibom, help in uniting the party.

“We commend Senator, Godswill Obot Akpabio for stepping down from the race and being the first to publicly join forces with His Excellency Senator Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu to achieve the landmark electoral victory,” Kailani said, adding that the PSC delegates were duly profiled by Akpabio presidential campaign organization at the Rockview Hotel, Abuja, and handed over to Tinubu.

“The PSC glorifies God Almighty- the maker and unmaker of kings and hereby wishes our Presidential Candidate, divine protection, good health, and good fortune in all his endeavors and good plans for a Great Country, Nigeria.

“The Presidential Support Committee (PSC) appreciates the challenges ahead and shall as usual, dutifully mobilize our membership nationwide and in the diaspora to do the needful.
