The number of Internet of Things (IoT) devices worldwide is projected to nearly double, rising from 15.9 billion in 2023 to over 32.1 billion by 2030, a report by Statista revealed.

This surge in connectivity highlights the growing challenge of exposure to electromagnetic fields (EMFs) and their potential health impacts. QNET, a global direct-selling leader in lifestyle and wellness, is responding to these modern challenges with a suite of innovative products designed to protect and enhance health. The company’s initiatives were highlighted at the Amezcua Product Workshop, on Friday, in Lagos.

Category manager and global trainer at QNET, Bernhard Gaksch, said the world is in an age where approximately 15.9 billion devices are connected to the internet, while emphasising the need for wellness solutions in an increasingly technology-dependent world.

While technology has become indispensable, Gaksch expressed concern over increasing research linking invisible waves emitted by devices like smartphones and televisions to potential health issues. “Every electronic device, from the phone in your pocket to your smart TV, emits invisible energy waves known as electromagnetic fields (EMFs),” he explained, noting their potential to cause headaches, fatigue, and more serious health problems.

Speaking passionately about the intersection of technology and wellness, Gaksch introduced a suite of products inspired by nature and backed by advanced science. At the forefront is the Amezcua Bio Disc 3, a product that re-energizes water by restoring its natural molecular structure. The best water comes from a stream, but as it travels, it loses its energy, Gaksch explained. The Bio Disc 3 revitalises this energy, improving hydration, detoxification, and immune system function. The device’s ability to enhance water quality has applications beyond human consumption, benefiting plants, pets, and food as well, he stated.

Accompanying the Bio Disc 3 is the Amezcua Bio Light 3, which works in synergy to accelerate healing. Utilising sequenced light technology, it targets chronic inflammation, muscle pain, and even migraines. It restores overall body health and promotes faster recovery, Gaksch stated, underscoring its efficacy in wound healing and nerve repair.

The E-Guard X, designed for easy use across a range of devices, transforms harmful EMFs into beneficial frequencies, creating a safer environment.

In his opening remarks, QNET’s regional general manager for Sub-Saharan Africa, Biram Fall, has reaffirmed the company’s commitment to empowering individuals through its innovative business model, which combines direct selling with an e-commerce platform.

Operating in Nigeria for two years and across over 25 countries, QNET adheres to ethical and legal standards while offering a diverse range of lifestyle and wellness products aimed at enhancing lives and fostering financial independence. The company’s efforts are part of a global direct-selling industry valued at $167.7 billion in 2023, with Nigeria’s market poised for significant growth.
