Buni, represented by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Alhaji Baba Mallam Wali equally inspected the ongoing construction of the Balanguwa-Kumaganam also awarded by the present administration.

A statement from the Press Secretary to the SSG, Alhaji Shu’aibu Abdullahi said the governor while speaking during the visit reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to completing all ongoing road projects in the state.

He said his administration considers provision of basic infrastructure such as roads as key in the quest to open up the state for better development.

The Governor further emphasized the importance of road infrastructure in facilitating economic growth and improving access to markets.

Buni stated that this among others informed the decision of his administration towards ensuring that all ongoing projects are completed within the stipulated timeline of projects as contained in contractual agreements.

The Governor highlighted the impact of rural road construction on local communities, particularly farmers, and assured constructors that funds would always be released accordingly.

He commended the constructors for their efforts, emphasizing the significance of their work in driving development across Yobe State.

“This development is expected to boost economic activity, improve food security, and enhance the livelihoods of residents.

“Our administration has prioritized infrastructural development by embarking on numerous road projects to modernize the state’s transportation network among other progress.”
