Kolo, who described Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s administration as a result and people-oriented, commended him for opening more rural roads in the state to further boost its economic status and make life more bearable for the people of the state, especially the rural dwellers.

The coordinator called on the contractors not to let the state government down in executing the RAAMP projects, urging them to do a thorough job and strictly adhere to contractual agreement.

He urged them to ensure that the 18-month completion period for the projects is not compromised.
The Kwara RAAMP lead infrastructure engineer, Isiaka Olayiwola, appreciated everyone for creating time to be part of the historic occasion, noting that the contractors got the job purely on merit without pressure or influence from any quarters.

LEADERSHIP reports that the road projects would be executed in phases, beginning with the first phase under backlog maintenance/rehabilitation of rural roads of 66.5 Km in Asa, Ilorin West, Ilorin East, Oyun, and Edu local government areas.
