Katsina State Governor, Dikko Umar Radda, has donated the sum of N278m to 4,634 state pilgrims in Saudi Arabia.
The bounty is part of their feeding allowance and other upkeep while in the holy land for pilgrimage.
The Amirul Hajj of the state and immediate past Speaker of the Katsina State House of Assembly, Tasiu Musa Maigari, disposed this to the state pilgrims in Makkah in a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to Gov Radda, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed and made available to press in the state.
It then conveyed the governor’s sallah felicitations to the pilgrims on the successful completion of this year’s Hajj exercise.
According to the statement, the governor supported each of the pilgrims with N60,000 which is equivalent to 300 Saudi riyals, while urging them to pray for the end of insecurity in the state.
