In a statement signed by the secretary to the state government (SSG) Ahmad Dangiwa, the governor directed all political appointees to hand over the affairs of their offices to the most senior directors in their MDAs.

He however exempted the Pilgrims Welfare Board from the directive until the completion of the 2023 Hajj exercise.

Radda expressed appreciation to the affected appointees for their contributions to the state government.

Meanwhile, Radda has appointed Ahmad Dangiwa as SSG and Jabiru Tsauri as the chief of staff.
