Also present at the event was the deputy governor of Cross River State, Rt. Hon. Peter Odey, who was acting as the governor alongside the vice-chancellor of the University of Calabar, Professor Florence Obi, who led a delegation comprising the chairman and members of the university’s governing council, the university management, and the wider university community, including students to the event.

The gathering further witnessed the presence of the leadership of the muslim community in Cross River State and other devoted muslim faithful, all uniting in the spirit of Ramadan.

Dr. Edu commended the leadership of President Bola Tinubu for the unwavering commitment to fostering national unity, cultural appreciation, and interfaith harmony in alignment with the Renewed Hope Agenda.
