Muslim women in Bauchi State have been charged to redouble their efforts towards sacrificing in the worship of their creator especially in this month of Ramadan.
Malam Muktar Aliyu made the call at the Ramadan lecture organised by the Federation of Muslim Women’s Association of Nigeria (FOMWAN) at the Bauchi Central Juma’at Mosque yesterday.
Aliyu said in this special month of Ramadan, especially during the last 10 days, there is a need for people to be engaging in some activities that would make them closer to Almighty Allah through charity and redouble their Ibadat.
He advised women to use the little they have to assist the less privileged.
On his part, Imam A. Salihu called on women to consider their marriage as a responsibility to get more reward.
Salihu said some women are not obeying their husbands and given their full attention which is contributing to more divorce of marriage in the society.
The Ameenrah of FOMWAN Hajiya Habiba Sa’ad Usman commended the participants and charged them to use the knowledge acquired during the month of Ramadan for a better spiritual life.
