Grammy award-winning rapper, Cornell Haynes, known as Nelly, is now officially a grandfather.
The 48-year-old rapper who appeared on Nellyville, a reality TV show that aired on BET between 2014-2015 along with his family, has never been married but fathered two children with his ex-girlfriend Channeta Valentine.
Nelly’s 29-year-old daughter, Chanelle ‘Nana’ Haynes, recently welcomed her first child, a baby boy named Ace.
Nelly, who performed at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) pre-show on Tuesday, confirmed his relationship with Grammy award-winning singer, Ashanti.
Nelly and Ashanti dated on and off for about 11 years before breaking up in 2013 and then recently reuniting again.
