Spanish giants Real Madrid are reportedly preparing a €100 million bid for Super Eagles and Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen, according to Fichajes.

Osimhen has become increasingly important to Real Madrid’s plans to shift Kylian Mbappé back to his natural position on the left wing. The club believes now is the ideal time to secure a proven goal scorer who can provide immediate goal-scoring ability and a strong presence in the box.

Since joining Galatasaray, Osimhen has consistently performed at a high level, becoming a key attacking figure, making him a strategic target for the upcoming season.

Real Madrid recognises the need for a pure striker with finishing prowess, speed, and scoring consistency, and Osimhen fits this profile perfectly. His power, aggressive running, and goal-scoring instincts align with the offensive strategy sought by the club’s management.

The club’s interest has been rekindled by Osimhen’s contractual situation and the media attention he has garnered at Galatasaray, making his acquisition a top priority.

His potential arrival would allow Mbappé to revert to the left flank, while Osimhen would take on the central goal-scoring responsibilities.

However, Galatasaray is unlikely to part with Osimhen without a substantial financial return, having invested €75 million for his transfer from Napoli. Real Madrid acknowledges that the deal could surpass the €100 million mark, especially if other top European clubs enter the fray.

The Turkish club is confident they can secure a profit on Osimhen, seeing the move as one of the most lucrative sales in the market.
