Kebbi State government has ordered civil servants to immediately resume work at the new Modern State Secretariat, which was completed by Governor Nasir Idris and recently commissioned by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu during his working visit to the state.

Governor Idris gave the order in Birnin Kebbi.

Speaking on behalf of the governor, the secretary to the state government (SSG), Yakubu Bala Tafida, directed all Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) to move to the new secretariat complex for their daily duties.

Tafida further disclosed that adequate provision will be made for security, catering services, and other essential services to ensure the new Secretariat is properly managed.

According to the SSG, the Secretariat Complex is expected to accommodate 25,000 civil servants drawn from various MDAs of the state.

He called on civil servants to reciprocate the governor’s gesture by demonstrating renewed dedication and punctuality to duty.
