First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Remi Tinubu, has paid tribute to the vice president’s wife, Hajia Nana Shettima, as she marks her 50th birthday.
In a congratulatory message yesterday, Senator Tinubu described the vice president’s wife as a woman of grace, commitment, and unwavering service to family and country, noting that her contributions to national development and support for humanitarian causes are worthy of celebration.
“Congratulations, Your Excellency, on your 50th birthday anniversary,” the First Lady said. “As you celebrate this day, I rejoice with you, your husband, children, grandchildren, family, friends, and loved ones.”
Senator Tinubu acknowledged the Vice President’s wife as a pillar of support not only to her husband and family but to the people of Borno State and Nigeria as a whole, especially through her longstanding advocacy for vulnerable groups and internally displaced persons.
“Your life has been one of service, dedication, and commitment to the wellbeing of your family and the upliftment of not only your beloved Borno State, but Nigeria as a whole,” she stated.
The first lady, who has worked closely with Hajia Nana Shettima on various national initiatives for women, children, and education, described the partnership as complementary and inspiring.
“Working with you has not only been pleasurable but complementary. I say thank you for being a worthy partner,” she added.
Senator Tinubu concluded her tribute with prayers for long life, peace, and continued joy for the celebrant.
“I pray you celebrate many more years in divine health, peace, joy, and happiness. Happy 50th birthday, Nana,” she said.
