First Lady, Senator Olufemi Tinubu

The Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Abimbola Akeem Owoade, has described the First Lady, Senator Olufemi Tinubu, as a role model who has exhibited uncommon wisdom, remarkable vision and exemplary leadership in the service to the nation.

Oba Owoade, in a congratulatory message marking the 65th birthday of the First Lady, through his Director of Media and Publicity, Bode Durojaiye, noted Senator Tinubu’s skill, experience, intelligence, and integrity, godliness and steadfastness as values that aided in the achievement her goals.

According to the Alaafin, “The wife of the President captures the essence of truth, display sincerity, candor and practices what she preaches. She makes decisions and accepts responsibility for their actions and her words.”

The Alaafin celebrated the first lady as a reliable and promise keeper who “loves people with all her heart, might, mind, soul and striving to help them as a true mark of a responsible leader.”

Oba Owoade highlighted that Senator Tinubu prioritises high moral standards as a politician with awareness of deriving joy in serving people without stealing public fund.

“She knows that a fulfilling and meaningful life is created through service to others. What is more, the First Lady has a clear sense of boundaries which means her priorities are intact,” the Alaafin said.
