LEADERSHIP learnt that the bridge collapsed as a result of a flood that washed it away.

It was revealed that thousands of people in the affected communities were currently stranded as the bridge was the key route for economic, social, and agricultural activities in the region.

As of the time of this report, the bridge has remained unfixed and paralysed social and economic activity in the area.
