RHOSLC Star Mary Cosby Pays Emotional Tribute To Son Robert Jr.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Mary Cosby has shared an emotional tribute to her son, Robert Cosby Jr., days after his death.

Robert Jr., 23, died on February 23. Mary posted a throwback photograph of the pair on Instagram, expressing her grief.

“#godfirst #love #forever,” she wrote alongside the image. “I’m going to miss you, bubs.”

According to a spokesperson for the Salt Lake City Police Department, officers responded to a report of a possible overdose on February 23, where Robert Jr. was found dead. The medical examiner is continuing to investigate the official cause of death.

Two days after the incident, Mary confirmed the loss in a statement to TMZ.

“Our beloved son Robert Jr. has been called home to the Lord,” she said. “Though our hearts ache, we take comfort in God’s promise and in knowing he is finally at peace. We are grateful for your prayers and trust in the Lord to carry us through this time of sorrow.”

Robert Jr.’s death occurred less than a month after his release from Salt Lake County Metro Jail, where he had served a two-month sentence, according to his attorney, Clayton Simms.
