Rival Gang Leader Kills Bandit Kingpin Lankai In Katsina

Suspected bandits kingpin in Jibia axis of Katsina State, Abdu Lankai, has been killed by rival gang leader, Dogo Rabe.

Lankai had been the strongest bandit leader championing reconciliation with the people of Jibia local government area of the State.

Sources said the crisis started from Friday to last weekend, following clashes between Abdu Lankai and other gunmen under the leadership of Dogo Rabe and another outlaw called ‘Black’, allegedly related to Bello Turji.

According to the sources, Abdu Lankai was accused of banning the transfer of stolen livestock to Zamfara State, a development which led to conflict between the sides.
