It was the tenth time that the Tosan Blackson’s side will be winning the trophy.

Nasarawa Amazons led 2-0 at the break, courtesy of two goals scored by Olusola Shobowale.

Shobowale netted the curtain raiser after seven minutes.

The forward doubled the advantage for the Lafia club 10 minutes later.

However, the Rivers Angels fought back after the break, scoring twice within five minutes.

Taiwo Ajibade reduced the deficit three minutes before the hour mark.

Ajibade made the equalizer in the 62nd minute, latching home from outside the box.

In the shootout that ensued after the draw at full time, the Port Harcourt club prevailed, scoring four times, while Nasarawa Amazons converted twice into the net.
