Zamfara state residents were directed to remove all illegal structures and refrain from encroaching on the ongoing Daza Gidan Dawa Road project.

The warning was delivered during project inspection conducted by a joint technical team comprising engineers from the Zamfara State Ministry of Works and Infrastructure, the Ministry of Housing, and the Zamfara State Urban and Regional Planning Board (ZUREPB) at the weekend.

The inspection was led by the Director Civil , Engr. Dalhatu Mayana Zamfara State Ministry of Works, alongside the Executive Secretary of the ZUREPB, Comr. Audu Bala and other technical officials from the participating agencies.

During the inspection, the team identified cases of encroachment along the approved road corridor that could hinder the smooth execution of the project.

The team called on all residents whose structures fall within the approved road alignment to voluntarily remove the affected portions to enable the contractor to continue the project without unnecessary delay.
