The pioneer governor, Rotary District 9111, Dr Oluwole Kukoyi, has emphasised the need for innovative strategies in enhancing public image.
Kukoyi gave the charge during a public image seminar with the theme, “Integrated Marketing Communications Strategy as Magic for Public Image Promotion in Rotary.”
“We recognise that effective communication is vital to Rotary’s mission. By sharing our stories, showcasing our impact and engaging our communities, we can inspire a new generation of leaders.
“As Rotarians, we are not merely members; we are ambassadors of service, champions of humanity.
“Let us harness the magic of integrated marketing communications to amplify our message. Let us leverage storytelling, multiple channels, and authenticity to showcase our work. Together, we can elevate Rotary’s global reputation, attract new members and partners, and enhance our community’s outreach,” he said.
The keynote speaker and president of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria, Lanre Adisa, noted that “using the medium of storytelling, multiple channels and authenticity will boost brands’ public image.”
Adisa, who is also the managing director of Noah’s Ark Communications Limited, said Rotary’s iconic status has not been earned by its years of existence but by the impact of its work globally and locally.
