The Rotary Club of Abuja, Wuse 2 (The Mayors) has organised a cholera sensitisation programme and donated safe-delivery hampers to some pregnant women at the Primary Health Centre in Gbagalape-Nyanya, a community in the Federal Capital Territory. The initiative is aimed at educating pregnant women on cholera and making a positive impact on those in need.

This project is the first for the Rotary year 2024-25, led by the newly elected officers and the board of directors. Club president Rotarian Obiageri Clementina Henshaw urged  members to support pregnant women, mothers, and families in need through this inaugural project.

The session was facilitated by the club’s vice president, Dr Linda C. Obiako, who educated the women on cholera prevention and treatment.
