Sallah: Benue Board Hails Muslims For Tackling Out-of-School Children Menace Challenge

Chairman of the Benue State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Dr Grace Adagba, has commended the Muslim community for their role in confronting the challenge of out-of -school children in the state.

Adagba in a Sallah message yesterday, said Eid-el-Fitr embodied the enduring virtues of sacrifice, self-restraint, compassion and unwavering devotion to Allah.

She said through advocacy, community mobilisation, and the moral authority of religious guidance, Muslim community remain indispensable partners in the state collective quest to return every child to the classroom and restore hope to countless futures.

Adagba, said the alignment of faith and education speaks to the very foundation of sustainable societal progress.

According to her, “As the crescent moon rises to mark the end of the sacred month of Ramadan, I extend, on behalf of the Benue State Universal Basic Education Board, my profound felicitations to our Muslim brothers and sisters across the state and beyond.

“Eid-ul-Fitr embodies the enduring virtues of sacrifice, self-restraint, compassion, and unwavering devotion to Allah (SWT); values that not only define the holy month but also strengthen the fabric of our society.
