When it comes to Nigerian women with passion in making a difference in entrepreneurship, Sandra Iheuwa will not be left out.
Sandra Iheuwa is a public figure that needs no introduction in Nigeria.
However, the public is more conversant with her social life than her business life and her scholarly disposition.
The mother of four has an impressive profile as a serial entrepreneur who has founded no less than four thriving businesses.
The young business maven, whose full name is Sandra Ifeoma Iheuwa, is an American citizen who studied in the United States and obtained her first degree and masters before coming to Nigeria.
The alumna of the University of Massachusett even worked for the Bank of America as a senior operations associate before she turned 20 years. She also owned a store in Canton, where she used to live.
Since she relocated to Nigeria in 2018, she has been a full-time entrepreneur, starting with Bella Braided Wigs.
Today, she has three more companies to her name, namely Ella Shipments and Logistics, a cargo and freight company doing home delivery in Nigeria and to other parts of the world, and My Everything Africa, a company that ships foodstuff from Nigeria to the United States, Canada, UK and Dubai, and lastly, Ella Rose Luxury Collections, a company which sells classy handbags with a showroom at Plot 7 Niyi Okunubi Street, Opposite Mecure, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.
In addition, she also runs a business investment consultancy.
As to her scholarly disposition, little was in the public domain aside from the fact that she was educated in America. However, Sandra Ihuewa provided insights when she recently posted a motivational piece online.
She had posted: “Monday Motivation: School isn’t a scam well kinda. Despite my years in business, I’m also a graduate with 4 degrees – 2 A.S, 1 BSc and 1 master’s. I won the business strategy game amongst other graduate students.”
She concluded the post thus: “I’m thinking of getting my PhD done before I’m 40 yrs old.”
