Abuh Ibrahim Sani is the co-founder of Eybrids, a company deeply focused on innovative technology solutions. As a co-founder of Eybrids, my focus is on developing cutting-edge tech solutions that address both modern business challenges and cybersecurity risks.
According to Sani, his interest in technology and cybersecurity was sparked early in his academic journey. “The increasing complexity of cyber threats and the critical need for organisations to protect their digital infrastructure inspired me to pursue this path. I recognised that cybersecurity would only become more essential as we move deeper into the digital age. This realisation, coupled with my desire to make an impact in Africa’s burgeoning tech landscape, motivated me to specialise in this field.”
Speaking on the significant milestones of his career, the co-founder of Eybrids said: “Establishing a company that provides digital solutions, which has been incredibly fulfilling, as it represents the culmination of years of study, research, and practical experience. Additionally, earning certifications such as ISO 27001 Lead Implementer and cybersecurity analyst credentials are highlights that have empowered me to help organisations build stronger cybersecurity frameworks. My role at Lumina Literati Publishing, where I contribute to both business and cultural impact, is another part of my success story that I am proud of.”
Speaking on the impact of digital transformation on the African continent, especially Nigeria, Sani explained that, digital transformation presents tremendous opportunities and challenges.
To him, “Cybersecurity plays a crucial role in ensuring that businesses and institutions can operate safely in this digital age. My work in cybersecurity and ICT can help African nations build more resilient infrastructures, reducing vulnerability to cyber threats and promoting trust in online transactions and services.
Furthermore, Eybrids’ technological innovations have the potential to drive growth in sectors like e-commerce, finance, and education, fostering economic development.”
Lucrativity
“Cybersecurity is one of the most lucrative fields today due to the growing digital landscape and the increasing number of cyber threats. Organisations, regardless of size or industry, need cybersecurity experts to protect their data, systems, and customers.
With businesses becoming more reliant on technology, the demand for cybersecurity professionals and solutions is expected to continue growing, offering significant financial rewards and career stability,” he stressed.
Challenges
One of the challenges one could face, he said, is the fast-evolving nature of cybersecurity threats, adding that, Cybercriminals are constantly developing new methods to breach systems, which means staying ahead of them requires continuous learning and adaptation.
To navigate this, Sani believes one has to invest in learning and stay updated with the latest developments in the field.
Take relevant certifications and participate in industry conferences and forums. As a business owner, balancing innovation with security can also be challenging, but my background in cybersecurity has helped me develop solutions that prioritise both, he said.

For those aspiring to succeed in cybersecurity or any technology-related field, he said: “I would say: never stop learning. The tech landscape evolves rapidly, and keeping your skills updated is crucial.
Obtaining certifications like ISO 27001 or cybersecurity analyst credentials can open many doors.
