Sanwo-Olu, Deputy Take Oaths Of Office For Second Term

Lagos State governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Monday, took oath of office to begin second term in office, assuring Lagosians that he will do his best to remain worthy of the mandate of the people of the state.

The governor, who arrived the Tafawa Balewa Square, Onikan venue of the inauguration ceremony at exactly 10:13am, was sworn-in with his deputy, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat.

Amid pomp and pageantry, the governor took his oath of office administered by the Chief Judge of the State, Justice Kazeem Alogba, at exactly 11: 41am, while the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, earlier took his oath of office at 11:32am.
