Saraki’s Ex-aide, Makanjuola, Dumps PDP

The former deputy chief of staff to the former Senate president, Dr Bukola Saraki, Hon. Gbenga Makanjuola, has left the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Makanjuola announced his resignation from the PDP in a letter dated July 30, 2024 and addressed to the chairman of the party in his Omu-Aran Ward 1, Irepodun local government area of Kwara State.
Makanjuola also sent copies of his resignation letter to the local government chairman and the state chairman of the PDP respectively.

‘I write to formally inform you of the resignation of my membership from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), effective from this 30th day of July, 2024.

“While I want to thank God Almighty for the journey so far, many thanks to the members and leadership of the party at the ward, local, and state levels for the opportunity.”

Please accept my esteemed regards,” Makanjuola stated in his resignation letter.
