The acting national chairman of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Prof.Sadiq Umar Abubakar, expressed shock at the news of the demise of Alhaji Aminu Dantata.
Abubakar, in a statement released to newsmen yesterday in Abuja, described Dantata as one of the last great industrialists of his generation in Africa, visionary leader dedicated to fostering enterprise and development in the country.
He said, “The SDP Family in Nigeria and beyond extends their heartfelt condolences to the family on the demise of our Father, Leader, and Mentor, Alhaji Aminu Dantata. His legacy of mentorship, investment in human potential, inspiring and guiding countless individuals to become leaders in their own right will continue to impact in the larger society.”
He stressed that Datata’s contributions to commerce, philanthropy, and national progress will continue to serve as a guiding light for future generations.
“Dantata is not only a loss for his family and the people of Kano State but for the entire nation. May Allah (SWT) forgive him, accept all his contributions, sacrifices, support to humanity and to the Muslim Ummah,” he said.
