Security Forces Kill 2 Lakurawa Bandits In Kebbi

A team of joint security forces has killed two suspected Lakurawa bandits while several others escaped with gunshot wounds during an operation in Rubin Bisa and Fana villages in Dandi local government area of Kebbi State.

This was made known by the director of security, Cabinet Office, Abdulrahman Usman Zagga, during an interview with newsmen in Birnin Kebbi.

Zagga further disclosed that the operation was conducted by the joint security forces based on credible intelligence and surveillance reports.

According to the director, the intervention followed a complaint lodged by the leadership of the local government area to the state government regarding the activities of the bandits in the area.

Governor Nasir Idris promptly directed the joint security personnel to take action, leading to the successful operation.
