Sen Gaya Loses Son

Son of the senator representing Kano South, Sadiq Kabiru Gaya, is dead.

Sadiq, a lawyer with Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) died yesterday afternoon in Abuja. His death was confirmed to newsmen in Kano by Hussaini Ambo Indabwa, the spokesperson of Senator Kabir Gaya.

He said the deceased was buried yesterday at about 4.00pm. Sadik is survived by a wife and two children. Senator Gaya, a former governor of Kano State, lost his wife, Halima, in May 2020.
