Sen Natasha Visits Alex Kadiri’s Family, Mourns Ogohi

Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan (Kogi Central) has visited the grieving family of the late Senator Alex Kadiri.

The visit allowed Senator Natasha to express her deepest condolences and offer support to the bereaved family during this difficult time.

Also, Natasha took a moment to mourn the loss of the former chief of defence staff, Admiral Ibrahim Ogohi. She acknowledged the immense impact of their passing, describing it as a significant loss for Kogi and Nigeria as a whole.

A statement issued by the chief press secretary to the lawmaker, Arogbonlo Israel, said during her visit, Senator Natasha spoke highly of the late Senator Kadiri and Admiral Ogohi, recognising their unwavering dedication and service to the nation.

She emphasised the pride they brought to Kogi through their selfless contributions.
Senator Kadiri, who represented Kogi East Senatorial District from 1999 to 2007, passed away on June 27, 2024 at 82.

Similarly, Admiral Ogohi, a Nigerian Navy officer who achieved the esteemed rank of four-star general, died on June 30, at 75.

Expressing her heartfelt sympathy, Natasha extended her thoughts and prayers to the grieving families. She offered her sincere condolences and prayed for the eternal rest of the departed souls.
