In a light hearted visual released on Afrobeat singer, Seun Kuti’s Instagram page,  the trio and scion of late Fela Kuti,  will be performing one after the other and also together at the March 31, 2024  show, billed to hold at the iconic Africa Shrine in Ikeja, Lagos.

The live show typical of the energetic performance of the six-times Grammy nominee, Femi Kuti will serenade the scores of audience and passionate lovers of Afrobeat genre which has given Nigeria a global acclaim.

The show, according to organisers will be Femi Kuti and Positive Force band’s major performance this  year as the sexagenarian has not travelled on tour this year , unlike Seun Kuti and Egypt 80 band that toured Australia as well as Made Kuti , that was in Europe and is fast becoming the toast of Afrobeat music.

Femi Kuti,  is arguably one of the few real musicians playing Afrobeat not Afrobeats, and has created its niche with great hits and album like No Cause For Alarm, Day by Day, Africa for Africa , Stop the Hate, to name a few.
