Seyi Tinubu Consoles Cubana Chief Priest After Losing APC Reps Primary In Imo

‎Son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, ‎Seyi Tinubu has reacted to the defeat of celebrity businessman, Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, in the All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Representatives primary for the Orsu/Orlu/Oru East Federal Constituency in Imo State.

‎Cubana Chief Priest contested the APC ticket ahead of the 2027 general elections but lost to incumbent lawmaker, Canice Nwachukwu, after polling 14 votes.
‎
‎Following the result, Seyi Tinubu sent a message of encouragement to the nightlife promoter in a post shared on his Instagram page, which Cubana Chief Priest later reposted. Political Leadership Training

‎He advised him not to be discouraged by the outcome, stressing that setbacks can still lead to future success.
‎
‎Cubana Chief Priest also reacted in a video circulating online, saying he had no regrets about contesting the election. However, he expressed disappointment over the low number of votes he received and questioned the role of party stakeholders in the process.
